Our vision is a future where children and young peoples’ lives are forever transformed by the power of music, the value of belonging and opportunities without barriers. In order to realise this vision, Sussex Music Hub works with schools, communities and partners across Brighton & Hove, East Sussex and West Sussex to ensure every child and young person has the opportunity to experience the benefits of music.

In 2025/26, we supported more than 54,000 children and young people through high-quality music-making in and beyond school, while working with 96% of state-funded schools across Sussex to strengthen music education. Through our extensive network of schools, cultural organisations, music educators and community partners, we create inspiring musical opportunities, invest in the music education workforce and help build inclusive, sustainable music provision that reflects the needs of local communities.
