This session will include:
RBO Schools Sing programme brings world‑class opera and singing into schools through free Teacher CPD, classroom resources and Live Sing Lessons – with no prior singing experience needed.
The programme helps teachers and pupils explore story, character and emotion through song, inspired by iconic operas such as The Magic Flute and Carmen, using accessible, confidence‑building approaches to vocal learning.
Through certified CPD and ready‑to‑use resources, teachers build confidence teaching the building blocks of singing – including pitch, rhythm, breath and expression – while pupils develop listening, memory, communication and creative collaboration, with clear links to Music, literacy and the wider curriculum.
Sing Live Lessons connect classrooms with Royal Opera singers and artists, offering inclusive, highly participatory singing experiences with minimal setup and clear guidance for teachers.
Together, the programme supports creativity, wellbeing and engagement through shared singing, delivering proven benefits for whole‑school improvement.
