The Session will Include:
Session A: The Multifaceted Role
- You are the Lead! An overview of the role and what it means to be a music leader.
- The National Picture: What the government has put in place and how it affects you.
- Reluctant Staff: Getting the team, including your SLT, on board and becoming a musically inclusive community.
- Fund Raising: No money/ no problem: Ways to fund raise and use all the assets you already have.
- Writing Your Music Development Plan: Tools and resources to help you.
- A Problem Shared is a Problem Halved: Talk time with new colleagues.
Session B: Singing Voices
- Every Child and Teacher a Singer: The importance of all being able to vocalise and how to build confidence in your team
- Becoming a Singing School: Curriculum, assemblies, transitions, cross curricular and performances.
- Resources Banks for Songs: where to find what you need.
