Classroom Instrumental Lessons (CIL) give children the opportunity to experience the excitement of learning a musical instrument together as a class. Linked to the National Plan for Music Education, these programmes support schools to enrich their music curriculum, develop pupils’ musical skills and confidence, and provide valuable professional learning opportunities for teachers working alongside specialist music practitioners.
