Sussex Music Education Network
The Sussex Music Education Network brings together teachers, school leaders and music educators from across Brighton & Hove, East Sussex and West Sussex to share practice, develop skills and strengthen music education for children and young people.
Through a programme of training, networking and partnership opportunities, the network supports schools at every stage of their music journey. Whether you are a Music Lead, classroom teacher, SEND practitioner, Early Career Teacher or senior leader, there are opportunities to develop your knowledge, connect with colleagues and access specialist support.
Our CPD programme has four key strands:
Sussex Music Hub CPD Programme
Join a year-round programme of training, conferences and network meetings co-delivered by Create Music and West Sussex Music.
Events include:

Vocal Development Projects
Develop your confidence in leading singing and support high-quality vocal outcomes through a range of performance-linked projects.
These programmes combine training, resources and practical support with exciting opportunities for young people to perform as part of large-scale events.
School-Based Training
Schools can access a menu of training that can be delivered at any point during the year, either as a staff meeting, twilight session or INSET programme. Schools may also choose to invite neighbouring schools to join training hosted on their site.
